The disturbing case of a young woman’s disappearance in Mahadevpura, followed by the tragic discovery of her lifeless body in front of her own residence, has taken a sinister turn with the arrest of a neighbor named Krishna. The investigation, which initially focused on the victim’s missing person report, has now unveiled a chilling tale of violence and betrayal. The victim, identified as Mahananda (24), had been reported missing after she vanished under mysterious circumstances. Her body was found near her home the following morning, shrouded in an aura of puzzlement. However, it was a vital piece of evidence—her foot—that helped the police trace the unexpected perpetrator of this heinous crime. Krishna, residing in the neighboring house, emerged as the accused in the case. Shockingly, he was not a stranger, but rather someone known to Mahananda. As the investigation progressed, a disturbing narrative emerged, shedding light on the horrific events that transpired that fateful night. According to police findings, on the night of the incident, Mahananda had stepped outside her house while preparing dinner. Seizing this opportunity, Krishna forcibly pulled her into his residence. A ghastly sequence of events unfolded as Krishna attempted to assault her. Her screams echoed through the night, prompting the accused to silence her by asphyxiating her. Krishna’s motive for this heinous act was unveiled—his intentions extended beyond violence, revealing a disturbing obsession. After the murder, he concealed Mahananda’s body within his dwelling. Astonishingly, even when his wife returned home, he maintained a veneer of normalcy, continuing to reside alongside the lifeless remains. The subsequent discovery of Mahananda’s body led to an elaborate charade, with Krishna feigning ignorance and grief.
