BJP Secures Victory In Kodigehalli Gram Panchayat Elections

In the recent election held for the positions of President and Vice President of Kodigehalli Gram Panchayat, situated within the Yeshavantpur Vidhan Sabha Constituency, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged victorious, capturing the Gram Panchayat leadership. Vinod P secured 17 out of the total 29 votes cast by the members of Kodigehalli Gram Panchayat, leading to his election as the President. Narasimhamurthy was successfully elected to this position. For the role of Vice President, V. Bhagyavathy Muniappa from Seegehalli secured 21 votes, securing her position in the Gram Panchayat leadership. The election witnessed competition among candidates, but the BJP-backed contenders, Vinoda Narasimhamurthy and V. Bhagyavathy Muniappa, emerged victorious for the positions of President and Vice President respectively. The election was conducted following the prescribed criteria, with Vinoda Narasimhamurthy and V. Bhagyavathy Muniappa receiving the majority of votes. Congratulatory messages flowed in, including from S.T. Somashekhar, the MLA of Yeshwantpur Assembly Constituency, who extended his well-wishes to the newly elected President and Vice President, both of whom enjoyed the support of the BJP. President-elect P. Vinoda Narasimhamurthy expressed a strong commitment to enhancing the development of the Gram Panchayat, focusing on providing essential amenities that cater to the needs of the rural population. Elected officials and dignitaries including MLA ST Somasekhar, former Vice President of Kodigehalli Gram Panchayat Putta Raju, Chairman of Cholanayakanahalli Gram Panchayat D. Anand Swamy, and others were present during the announcement of the election results, demonstrating their collective commitment to local governance.
