BBMP contractors association have brought to the notice of Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi that the State Congress Government is asking for 65 percent  commission. If Rahul Gandhi does not tolerate corruption, he should immediately intervene and direct the release of the contractor’s bill. Otherwise, former Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai opined that Karnataka is Congress’s ATM is a proven fact.

Accepting the request of BBMP Contractors Association office bearers who visited him at his residence in RT Nagar today, he later spoke to the media and said that the contractors who have done work in BBMP have visited him. He has appealed to the government to release money for the work done.

When I was the CM, I made a streamline for online bill payment. He said that the money was released on the basis of seniority, so that   balance remained low.

The contractors have alleged that asking bribes for the works of the previous government in all departments is common. The Chief Minister has kept silent about this. He alleged that this indicates his consent.

The Chief Minister has said that he did not receive money for the transfers.   But, why are the orders transferred from his office getting changed.   During our period we formed a committee of 3 people to bring transparency in the works. He said that those orders are not being followed now, Bommai said.
