The Hennur police station has made a significant breakthrough in the case of the heinous murder of 19-year-old B.Com student, Marvesh, from a private college. Six individuals, including a rowdy element, were apprehended on Friday in connection with the crime. The arrested suspects are Srikanth, Karthik, Nelson, Yohan, Abhishek, and Danier Antony, all residents of Hennur. Marvesh, a resident of Ramaswamy Palya, Hennur, fell victim to a fatal attack with pipes near his college. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the treatment proved futile, and he tragically succumbed to his injuries. The motive behind this appalling act came to light during the investigation. Apparently, Marvesh’s friend, Lohit, had sent a message to Srikanth’s girlfriend, who promptly informed Srikanth about the communication. Enraged by this development, Srikanth shared the incident with his friends and suggested that they teach Lohit a lesson. As a result, the accused group went to the college to find Lohit, but when they couldn’t locate him, they turned their attention to Marvesh. Subsequently, Marvesh was taken to one of the rooms in DJ Halli, where they attempted to contact Lohit. However, Lohit did not answer the call, and in a fit of anger, the attackers brutally assaulted Marvesh. The young student suffered severe injuries as a result of the attack and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, he tragically lost his life.
The police acted swiftly upon receiving a complaint related to the incident, leading to the arrest of the accused. Marvesh, a first-year B.Com student at Khagasi College, Hennur, had his life cut short in this senseless act of violence, leaving his family and friends devastated.
As the investigation continues, the authorities will seek justice for Marvesh and ensure that the perpetrators face the full extent of the law for their horrific actions.
