Sindhu Loknath has just wrapped up shooting for the new film Padmavyuha, which has her a never-seen-before look. The film, directed by Dayanand and Amar, also has Rakesh Adiga, Kushanth and Vinay Gowda in lead roles.
About her role, Sindhu says, “I play a rich spoilt girl who is addicted to drugs. She is a tomboy and hippie, who doesn’t care about anyone. It’s a very interesting and performance-oriented character, which required a lot of dedication and determination to pull off. The subject, which touches upon drugs, has universal appeal, so I was able to connect to the subject.”
To get into the skin of the character, Sindhu watched many English and Bollywood movies. “I took a cue from Kangana Ranaut’s character in Fashion. I have brought my own nuances to the role, which will definitely be noticed in my performance,” she adds.
