There is no difference of opinion between MLC Laxman Savadi, Minister Shashikala Jolle and the Jarkiholi family. KMF President Balachandra Jarkiholi said it was a media creation. Speaking to the media after attending a meeting of Veerashaiva Lingayat community in Arabhavi assembly constituency limits, he said there may be some  differences between Savadi and Jolle over some minor issues. But he said everything would be fine.

It is only in the BJP that the Lingayat community is given the chief minister’s post. None of the other parties will give the CM’s post to the Lingayat community. Lingayat votes are high in the state. He challenged the opposition parties to see if the Congress and JD(S) choose a Lingayat chief minister.

Veerashaiva Lingayat community votes should not be divided in the state. Everyone should vote for the BJP. If the government comes back, it will be easier to give reservation. It is only possible for the BJP government to give reservation to the Lingayat community. The Panchamasali community is unhappy that they have not got 2A reservation. I will ask the Chief Minister. He assured that he would appeal for reservation at the earliest.

In the coming elections, if the people of the society come together and unitedly ensure that the votes do not go to other parties and vote for the BJP, the chance of a person from your community becoming the chief minister will come together once again. Bjp, Congress and JD(S) are important parties in the state. Balachandra Jarkiholi said that it was only the BJP which made a Veerashaiva Lingayat community the chief minister.
