A tragic incident unfolded late Thursday night near the Majestic bus station, where a transgender woman named Devi was brutally killed. The attack stemmed from a minor dispute over a mere 200 rupees. Investigators revealed that a heavily intoxicated 29-year-old suspect named Gautam approached her around 3:00 AM to rob her. When Devi refused, a fierce argument quickly turned deadly. Gautam struck her with a dagger and fled with her phone and cash. Police launched a swift manhunt, arrested the suspect within hours, recovered the stolen belongings, and initiated strict legal proceedings.
