MLA Ramdas has welcomed High Court verdict on Hijab controversy.  The High Court has clearly stated that wearing hijab is not a religious practice.  It has also withheld the government order prohibiting hijab.

Hijab is not a necessary religious observance. According to the Tribunal, there is no basis in the Quran for the reference to hijab as a necessary ritual. It is welcome that the High Court of Karnataka comprising Chief Justice Rithuraj Awasthi, Justice Krishna Dixit and Justice Jaibunnisa Mohiuddin Khaji have announced.
We have a culture called Vasudeva Kudumbakam. The main purpose of going to a college is to educate the students, where the goal is to educate the students and not the other way around. One can live in any corner of the world by proper learning.
It is the Indian's priority to uphold the High Court decision that has just arrived. Education needs to be more focused on knowledge. Let any one class do this or oppose it and move towards social well-being and harmon, Ramdas has expressed in his statement.
