Malayalam actor Sarath Chandran, who is best known for his performance in Angamaly Diaries was found dead in his residence in Kakkad, Malappuram, on Friday (July 29). He was 37. As reported by Sources, the police found a suicide note that stated no one was responsible for his death and hinted that he was under depression. Apparently, the note also indicated that he was undergoing depression and took the extreme step. The police is reportedly suspecting that the actor might have consumed poison and ended his life.
The 37-year-old actor is survived by his parents and a younger brother. Sarath Chandran, who is best known for his performance in Anagamaly Diaries has also acted in movies Oru Mexican Aparatha, CIA, and Koode among others. He has also acted in several advertisements and has also worked as a dubbing artist.
Sarath Chandran was reportedly working in an IT firm prior to entering the movies. He marked his debut in the movie industry with the film Aneesya released in 2016. He grabbed the attention of audience after appearing in Lijo Jose Pellisserys directorial Angamaly Diaries.
The Malayalam movie industry was shocked by the untimely demise of Sarath Chandran. Antony Varghese Pepe, who has worked with the late actor in Angamaly Diaries paid tributes, upon hearing the unfortunate news. He took to his official Facebook handle and penned a heartfelt note that read, RIP Brother.
