Must read

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoors next Good Luck Jerry is gearing for release on July 29. Directed by Sidharth Sengupta, Good Luck Jerry is a remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila starring Nayanthara. The actress is on a promotional spree for the film, and in a recent interview with an entertainment portal, she opened up about the filmmakers in South cinema, she wants to work with. And guess what? Janhvi Kapoor was all praise for director Alphonse Puthren and shared that she wants to work with him. Janhvi Kapoor said that she really wants to work with Alphonse sir, and also added that she loved Premam.
Alphonse Puthrens directorial Premam was released in 2015, and it featured Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameswaran, and, Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles. The film spoke about the love affairs of George David, played by Nivin Pauly, from his pre-degree days, portraying the varying grip of a man over love and life.
During the interview, Janhvi Kapoor also shared her wish to work with Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran.
Meanwhile, speaking to ETimes recently Janhvi Kapoor opened up about the challenges she had while filming for Good Luck Jerry, she said, I think learning Jerrys accent was a challenge. She has a Bihari accent. And the dialect was a big part of trying to understand Jerrys psyche, and also the fact that shes doing something that isnt morally right. But shes doing it for her family. So I think to not judge the character and to still make sure that shes a protagonist and root for her, even though shes doing something thats essentially because of trying to find that balance and show that theres humour without it ever feeling like shes not actually in trouble. Finding the balance between all of these things, I think, was tough.
