Disha Patani on playing a grey character in ‘Ek Villain Returns’

Bollywood diva Disha Patani, who is known for her glamorous girl image on the big screen, left her fans surprised when she unveiled the trailer of her upcoming film ‘Ek Villain Returns’.
The movie, which also stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria, features Disha in a powerful role with a grey shade to it.
Talking about the same, during a conversation with the Sources, Disha said that it is not about women or men. According to her, everyone has grey shades in them. The actress also added that it is important for cinema to reflect that there can’t be only heroes and heroines.
Elaborating further, Disha added that no man or woman is always good. The actress said that she wanted to be sure that she was going in the right direction. The actress also added that she saw several films [belonging to the genre], and tried to be honest about the role.
Apart from ‘Ek Villain Returns’, Disha also finished shooting for Dharma production’s ‘Yodha’ co-starring Sidharth Malhotra.
