Officials  Must Work With Mutual Coordination, MP BN Bache Gowda

The officials of various departments departments including agriculture, horticulture, silk, revenue, zilla  panchayat, social welfare should work in coordination and responsibly to provide government facilities to the common people including farmers, weaker sections, women and the district to achieve full progress, Member of Parliament BN Bache Gowda said.

He spoke while presiding  Disha  committee progress review meeting held at the Zilla Panchayat conference hall in Rural District Administrative Complex at Beerasandra village of Devanahalli Taluk.

  He said that the silk and related department officials should take action to encourage the farmers to voluntarily clear the eucalyptus trees and take up mulberry cultivation and take action for the expansion of agriculture, silk and horticulture crops.

  To provide water to every house, construction of check dams, dredging of lakes and ground water augmentation works should be carried out jointly by Jaljeevan Mission, Atal Bhujala, Narega projects. If a good action plan is prepared for water treatment programs and a proposal is submitted to the Ministry of Hydropower of the Central Government, the grant will be available. Therefore concerned authorities should act in this regard.  If the  HN Valley and Yettinhole projects are completed soon, many lakes in the district will be filled with water and the water problem will be solved by recharging the ground water, he said.

House construction works undertaken in rural and urban areas under various housing schemes of the central and state governments should be completed soon and housing facilities should be provided to the eligible beneficiaries. An action plan should be quickly prepared, proposal submitted, approved and the works should be started to utilize the funds released under the 15th finance plan, he said.

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission scheme, space has been given for the construction of solid waste disposal units in all the Gram Panchayats of the district. Various development works including road, water, school, anganwadi, library should be completed in the villages selected under MP’s Adarsh ​​Gram Yojana, Bache Gowda said.

Deputy Commissioner K Srinivas, Zilla Panchayat CEO K Revanappa, Deputy Secretary Dr Nagaraja, Chief Planning Officer Narasimha, Assistant Commissioner Tejas Kumar, district level officers of various departments, Executive officers of Taluks, Tahsildars were present.
