Pathu Thala Gets A Release Date

Silambarasan has been working round the clock for his movies, and he has Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and Pathu Thala set to release. While Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is officially announced to release on September 15th and will clash with Jayam Ravis Agilan at the box office, Pathu Thala too has got its release date. On the occasion of the film producer’s birthday yesterday, the Pathu Thala team has announced the release date of the film. Accordingly Silambarasan starrer is slated to release on December 14.
Silambarasan is currently in the US for his father T Rajendars medical treatment, and he has put the work for Pathu Thala on hold. The delay in the filming has pushed the film’s release to December, otherwise, the film would have been released during Diwali. However, Silambarasan will be soon resuming the work for Pathu Thala, and the actor will be shooting nearly for a month to complete his portions.
Directed by Obeli N Krishna, Pathu Thala also has Gautham Karthik, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalaiyarasan, and Soundararaja among others, while AR Rahman scores the music for the Tamil remake of the Kannada film Mufti.
