Parthiban, who was last seen in Ottha Seruppu is now awaiting the release of his next film titled Iravin Nizhal. The film is directed by Parthiban and has Parthiban, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Anandha Krishnan and Brigida Saga in the lead roles.
The film is a single-shot nonlinear film which is a first in India and the movie was earlier scheduled to release on June 24. The makers of the film have reportedly pushed the release to July. The official announcement regarding the same is expected soon.
Iravin Nizhal being a non-linear single-shot film, the film was earlier mentioned in the India book of records and Asia book of records. The story of the film is about a 50-year-old man who looks back on different stages of his life. The music for Iravin Nizhal is composed by AR Rahman and the audio launch of the film was held last month in Chennai.
The movie was also screened at the 75th Cannes International Film Festival and the film received much praise. Director Seenu Ramasamy who has watched the film stated that the film is a lighthouse to Tamil cinema. Director Seenu Ramasamy on Twitter wrote, It is the first Asian Tamil film without an editor. It is the first non-linear single-shot film in which actor Parthiban himself acts and also directs others.
