A National level Mega Lok Adalat is arranged on June 25, said President of District Legal Aid Authority and Chief District and Sessions Judge ML Raghunath and requested public to make use of the opportunity.
He was speaking at a media conference at the video conference hall. This is an great opportunity for the clients to settle the long pending cases immediately. The cases which are not registered in the court can also be settled through mutual compromise, he said.
Criminal Cases, Bank recovery cases, reinstatement of employment, Industrial workers pay claims, district consumer forum cases, permanent jurisdictional cases, cheque invalidation cases, Motor accident compensation jurisprudence, power of attorney, water and electricity charges, land acquisition cases, wages and allowances, service pensions, public utility services cases, compromised civil and other cases, marital or family court (excluding divorce) can be settled in the Lok Adalat, he said.
