The family members are looking forward for arrival of body of Naveen, a medical student who died in Kharkiv of Ukraine due to shelling by Russian military forces. There is no clear information about the arrival of the dead body.
However, preparations are being made to perform the last rites of Naveen after arrival of the dead body. The family members are hoping for an information about the same from the Indian Embassy and Central Government, said Ujjanagouda Gyanaoudar, Naveen’s uncle.
Naveen was declared dead three days before and as per the Veerashaia customs, three days programme will be held. As per the advise of the seers, the three days function will be conducted. The last rituals will be conducted in front of Naveen’s house at Chalageri of Ranebennur Taluk.
The officials are making constant efforts to bring the dead body of Naveen to India.
