Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday attributed the BJP-NDA’s strong performance in the state assembly bypolls to the people’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. With the counting still underway, the BJP and its ally RLD are leading in six of the nine contested seats from the November 20 bypolls.
Adityanath praised the victory, stating it reflected the people’s continued confidence in Modi’s successful governance. He also credited the win to the policies of good governance, security, and welfare implemented by the double-engine government, as well as the hard work of party workers.
He congratulated the winning candidates and stressed unity, saying, If we are divided, we will be cut. If we stay united, we will be safe. Among the nine seats, the BJP is leading in six, while RLD leads in one, and the Samajwadi Party secured victory in two seats.
