Sai Pallavi aims for National Award to honor grandmother's wish
Sai Pallavi, known for her captivating performances and natural charm, has a deep-rooted dream of winning a National Award. This dream is tied to a special saree given to her by her grandmother when she was 21. The saree was meant for a significant occasion, ideally her wedding day, but Sai Pallavi envisioned wearing it while receiving the prestigious award instead.
In a recent interview, the actress shared that after her success in Premam, her dream of winning the National Award grew stronger. She hoped to wear the saree when that moment came. Although she didn’t win the award last year for her role in Gargi, Sai Pallavi remains optimistic and feels a strong emotional connection to her grandmother’s wish. The actress stated that while awards are important, it’s the sentimental value of the saree that truly fuels her aspiration.
Sai Pallavi also spoke about the pressure she feels to wear the saree someday, linking it to a memory that is more significant than any accolade. Despite last year's disappointment, where she lost the award to Nithya Menen, she remains hopeful. On her upcoming projects, Sai Pallavi will make her Hindi debut in Ek Din with Junaid Khan and will play Sita in Ramayana alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Yash.
