Forest, Ecology, and Environment Minister Eshwar Khandre addressed the media today at Vikas Soudha after receiving an ambulance donated by Cauvery Hospital. And when we are in the opposition, we will continue to fight for the people.” He dismissed the predictions made by Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly, R. Ashoka, labeling them as having no value. He criticized the internal conflicts within the BJP, suggesting that they should reflect on their ethical standing before speaking about Congress.
Regarding the ambulance donation, Khandre stated, “The ambulance provided by Cauvery Hospital for Bannenughatta National Biological Park will greatly benefit both tourists and locals. It is essential for emergency health situations, ensuring support for local residents, park staff, and visitors.”
Speaking about the significance of Bannenughatta, noting that it is a large forest area established in 1970 and designated as a national park in 1974. The region features a zoo, Butterfly Park, and various safari experiences, making it a key attraction for tourists.
The minister praised Cauvery Hospital's initiative under their corporate social responsibility (CSR), highlighting the necessity of an ambulance for providing emergency healthcare services to both visitors and staff at the national park. During the event, he accepted the ambulance on behalf of the department and handed it over to the park's executive director, Surya Sen.
