As Maharashtra prepares for the Assembly elections, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Ajit Pawar, has initiated a campaign called Candidate Connect to strengthen the bond between candidates and voters. This campaign utilizes personalized video clips to showcase the candidates’ political journeys and their contributions to local development. The goal is to inform voters about their candidates and highlight the work done by elected officials in their constituencies.
Ajit Pawar, the DCM and NCP President, introduced the campaign through his social media platforms. The videos feature candidates discussing their life stories, personal experiences, and how Ajit Pawar has supported public welfare initiatives in their regions. Each video lasts about five minutes and includes anecdotes about family and friends, adding a personal touch.
For instance, Ajit Pawar praised Shekhar Nikam, the sitting MLA from Chiplun, as a true representative of the people. He also highlighted Udgir MLA and State Minister Sanjay Bansode for his dedication and drive for development. The campaign aims to underscore the importance of elected representatives in serving the public. Pawar emphasizes that a genuine representative is someone who connects with the community, sharing in their joys and struggles, and is deeply committed to serving their needs.
