UP CM, Israeli envoy discuss new cooperation opportunities

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently had a productive meeting with Israel’s Ambassador to India, Reuven Azar, in Lucknow. The discussion aimed to explore new opportunities for collaboration that could benefit the people of Uttar Pradesh. CM Adityanath emphasized that this meeting represents a significant step in enhancing the strong relationship between Uttar Pradesh and Israel, particularly in areas of shared interest.

In a post on X, he expressed his optimism about the meeting, stating, ‘I had a highly fruitful discussion with Mr. Reuven Azar. This meeting marks another step toward strengthening the deep bond between UP and Israel in areas of mutual interest. We look forward to exploring new avenues of cooperation for the benefit of the people of Uttar Pradesh’.

Earlier, Ambassador Azar hinted at exciting developments in the semiconductor sector, saying, ‘We expect big news in the coming days’. While he did not provide specific details, he mentioned that private companies are involved in the initiative. Azar also noted the close personal relationship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which has significantly enhanced ties between the two nations. He stated that this partnership has created lasting benefits and a strong friendship between India and Israel.
