The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized four properties valued at Rs 1.31 crore related to the 2012 Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) question paper leak. These properties belong to Sajad Hussain Bhat, Mohd. Amin Ganie, Suhail Ahmad Wani, and Shabir Ahmad Dar, located in Srinagar and nearby areas, and were attached under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.

The ED began its investigation after the Crime Branch of J-K Police registered an FIR against Mushtaq Ahmed Peer, the former Chairman of the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE), and others. The investigation revealed that the accused sold leaked JKCET 2012 papers, generating about Rs 2.50 crore. All involved have been convicted by the Special Court Anti-Corruption in Srinagar.
