The Adani Group denied the circulation of fraudulent press releases on Monday, which falsely claimed the company’s involvement in Kenya. A statement was issued by the group, asserting that malicious individuals with hidden interests were spreading fake information, including a press release titled “Adani Group Denounces Baseless Accusations and Threats.”
The Adani Group clarified that no official press releases regarding Kenya had been issued by the company or its subsidiaries. The group condemned the spread of these false statements and urged the public to disregard them entirely. It was also mentioned that legal action would be taken against those responsible for circulating the misinformation.
The company requested media outlets and influencers to verify the accuracy of any news related to the Adani Group before publishing or broadcasting it.
Recently, the Adani Group also denied allegations made by US-based Hindenburg Research, claiming that the company’s funds had been frozen by Swiss authorities. The Adani Group dismissed the claims as baseless, stating that the company was not involved in any court proceedings in Switzerland and that none of its accounts had been frozen. The group reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
