A proposal to create a detailed 3D model of the Vidhana Soudha has been put forward. The aim is to develop a miniature model that captures the architectural design, dimensions, and historical aspects of the building.
To achieve this, a working group will be established. The group will include project leaders, site engineers, PWD engineers, and 3D printing specialists. Detailed design plans and building dimensions will be needed for accuracy. Interaction with site engineers and other experts will also be essential.
Expert insights are being sought from knowledgeable figures like Mr. J. Gnanashekhar, who has extensive experience with the Vidhana Soudha’s history and architecture. This expertise is expected to contribute to the project’s success.
Additionally, resources for 3D printing, possibly from KSTA Academy under the Ministry of Science and Technology or similar departments, will be utilized. A video cover story on the Vidhana Soudha’s history is also proposed, modeled after existing educational videos.
The 3D model is intended to serve as an educational tool and support a broader research project aimed at constructing a new, significant legislative building near the upcoming international airport.
