RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav recalled the difficult history with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) and revealed that Kumar had once apologized with folded hands for joining the BJP-led NDA. Yadav stated that this apology happened in front of his MLAs, who witnessed the event.

He begged for forgiveness in front of all the MLAs. How many times has he apologized, saying he made a mistake and would not join the BJP again? Yadav said. He firmly ruled out any future alliance with Kumar’s JD(U), questioning the reliability of Kumar’s promises and citing past betrayals.

Nitish Kumar’s political journey has been marked by frequent shifts in alliances. In 2015, he and Yadav’s RJD formed a coalition, but Kumar switched to the BJP in 2017. He briefly rejoined the RJD in 2022, only to return to the NDA in early 2024.

Yadav also criticized Kumar’s government for failing to control crime, claiming that criminals operate without fear of the police. He highlighted recent incidents of violence and blamed Kumar for the deteriorating law and order situation.

On his ‘Aabhar Yatra,’ Yadav said the focus is on engaging with party workers and gathering their input on party expansion and strengthening. He emphasized the importance of worker involvement for the party’s growth.
