IIT Delhi launches 4th batch of ML, DL certificates
New Delhi
The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has introduced the fourth batch of its esteemed Certificate Programme in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. This program is tailored to provide professionals with advanced skills and deep knowledge crucial for success in the rapidly advancing fields of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).
As AI and ML continue to reshape various industries, the demand for skilled experts is rising. The global ML market, valued at USD 19.45 billion in 2022, is expected to soar to USD 188.34 billion by 2030, growing at a rate of 37.47% annually. India's ML market is also set to grow significantly, with an anticipated CAGR of 36.11%, reaching USD 17.87 billion by 2030.
The programme equips learners with essential Python programming skills, including data loading and preprocessing using the Pandas library. Participants will also explore core ML principles and train neural networks with Keras and TensorFlow. By the end of the course, they will be capable of applying various ML and DL techniques to real-world challenges.
Dr. Manav Bhatnagar from IIT Delhi emphasized the programme's commitment to combining cutting-edge theoretical knowledge with practical skills. The six-month course, crafted by IIT Delhi experts, features 76 hours of online and self-paced learning, a three-week capstone project, and a masterclass. The programme, offered via the Interactive Learning platform in Direct-to-Device mode, also includes an immersion session on the IIT Delhi campus.
