A thorough inspection of the bridges at Polali and Ulayibettu and the road leading to Renjadi at Deralakatte will be conducted by a team of technical experts on Monday. Vehicle movement on these bridges and road has been restricted by the Deputy Commissioner MP Mullai Muhilan. Local groups, including the gram panchayat, bus owners, and organizations, have requested that light vehicles and buses be allowed to pass. Advanced equipment will be used by the experts to assess the condition of the infrastructure. The decision on whether to allow vehicle movement will be made after the committee submits its findings and recommendations.
