Two individuals lost their lives and five others sustained injuries after a truck collided with a car in Telangana’s Sangareddy district on Monday, as reported by the police. The incident took place on the Zahirabad-Bidar highway near Huselli village in Nyalkal mandal. Among the deceased are the car’s driver and a woman, both residents of Bidar in Karnataka. The injured have been hospitalized at Zahirabad’s government-run hospital.

In a separate incident in Medak district, tragedy struck when a municipal worker lost his life and a 10-year-old child was injured. The accident occurred in Vaddera Colony, Medak town, where a speeding car hit the sanitation worker who was cleaning the road. The deceased, Maisaiah (50), was identified, and the injured child has been admitted to a hospital. The driver of the car fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle, prompting a search by the police for the perpetrator.
