Organs of deceased man donated

CR Chandra (39) was admitted to Apollo BGS Hospital on July 19 due to severe head injuries from an accident. Despite intensive care, his brain was completely inactive.
After medical evaluation confirmed him as a suitable organ donor, the hospital followed protocols under the Human Organ Transplantation Act, 1994. The family was informed and consent was obtained.
Chandra’s liver, kidneys, and corneas were successfully donated to four recipients. The hospital acknowledged the family’s decision amid their grief over losing a loved one.
