Kauvery Hospital has inaugurated India’s first AI-powered Department of Lifestyle Diseases at its Electronic City unit in Bangalore, marking a significant advancement in healthcare. The ceremony was attended by Nitte Santosh Hegde, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Karnataka State Lokayukta, who emphasized the transformative potential of technology in healthcare.
I am honoured to inaugurate this pioneering department at Kauvery Hospital, remarked Nitte Santosh Hegde. The integration of AI and personalized care represents a transformative step in healthcare, addressing both the root causes of illnesses and the need for preventive measures.
The department aims to tackle the rising burden of preventable non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in India through early detection, personalized interventions, and holistic care plans tailored to individual patient needs. S. Chandrakumar, Founder & Executive Chairman of Kauvery Group of Hospitals, highlighted the department’s proactive approach in improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.
Rajkumar Channabasavaiah, Director and Head of the Department, detailed the comprehensive services offered, including Diabetic Remission, Weight Management, Cardiac Wellness, and specialized care for conditions like Hypertension, PCOS, Asthma/COPD, and Chronic Kidney Disease.
