West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has canceled her Thursday afternoon trip to Delhi. It is unclear if her entire three-day visit has been called off or just postponed by a day.

Sources from the state secretariat indicated that Banerjee might travel to Delhi on Friday and attend the NITI Aayog event on Saturday, along with meetings with Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members. However, these plans are not yet confirmed.

The cancellation has caused a stir, as it was anticipated that Banerjee would seek an exclusive meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss pending Central dues related to various schemes. It remains to be seen if the Chief Minister will provide further details or announce a revised schedule.
