Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the ‘Regional Industry Conclave’ initiative, highlighting its role in sparking a new industrial revolution in the state on Monday. At the conclave held in Jabalpur on July 20, investors proposed investments totaling around Rs 22,000 crore for both large and MSME units. This influx of capital is expected to create numerous job opportunities.
The Chief Minister noted that more investment proposals are anticipated in the coming months, as discussions with major industrialists and business leaders continue. He emphasized that the state government is actively working on regional industrial development.
This was the second Regional Industry Conclave; the first took place in Ujjain in March, resulting in investment proposals exceeding Rs 15,000 crore. Future conclaves are planned for other major cities, including Sagar, Rewa, and Gwalior. These events aim to boost local entrepreneurship and investment in regions such as Bundelkhand, Vindhya, and Chambal.
