Shiv Sena legislator Manisha Kayande urged the Mumbai Police Commissioner to shut down ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ due to its obscene content, claiming the show has exceeded acceptable limits. She highlighted a July 18 episode that featured explicit and disturbing acts on camera. Kayande emphasized that children watch the show and called for immediate action, including legal proceedings against the producers and the broadcasting company’s CEO under cybercrime laws. She also criticized the actors for undermining social values and announced plans to meet with the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister to push for censor board oversight of OTT platforms.
