Raj B Shetty’s new film, Roopanthara, is set to release in theaters on July 26. Directed by Mithilesh Edavalath, this film tells its story through five interconnected narratives, each exploring the theme of hope. The characters’ lives intersect, showing how one person’s decisions can impact others.
Presented and distributed by Raj B Shetty’s Lighter Buddha Films, Roopanthara has already caught attention with its unique trailer. Raj B Shetty shared his thoughts, stating, Roopanthara was crafted to go beyond market demands. In this project, I focused solely on acting and contributed minimally to the dialogue. The film highlights profound transformations within its ensemble cast, which I value deeply.
Producer Suhan Prasad, who also supported Shetty’s debut Ondu Motteya Kathe, highlighted the film’s broad appeal: Though there’s a saying that Mangaloreans make films for Mangaloreans, Roopanthara was created in Bengaluru with a diverse cast from different backgrounds. The film’s trailer has been well-received, with executive director Balakrishna Arvanakar expressing pride in the positive feedback. The film features cinematography by Pravin Shriyan and music by Midhun Mukundan.
