Panchshil realty launches metro-connected PMPML feeder e-shuttle service

Panchshil Realty has teamed up with Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) and Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) to launch the Metro-Integrated Employee Feeder e-Shuttle Service. This innovative service connects the Ramwadi Metro Station, located near Phoenix Mall on Nagar Road, to Panchshil’s major office parks in Kharadi, including EON Free Zone I and II and the World Trade Center (WTC).

The service was officially launched on June 19, 2024, with key representatives from PMPML, Maha Metro, office park occupants, and Panchshil attending the event. Notable attendees included Dr. Sanjay Kolte, CMD of PMPML, and various officials from Maha Metro, such as Vinod Agarwal, Director of Operations and Systems.

This initiative marks a significant advancement in Pune’s commuting infrastructure, aiming to promote sustainable urban transport solutions. The new e-shuttle service provides efficient last-mile connectivity, enhancing the overall experience for commuters using the Pune Metro.

Panchshil Realty’s efforts in engaging with metro authorities and the public bus operator have made this eco-friendly transportation option possible, ensuring smoother travel for employees and contributing to the city’s sustainable development goals.

Key Details of the Feeder e-Shuttle Service:

Initial Operation: PMPML will deploy two electric feeder buses.

Frequency: The buses will operate every 30 minutes from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm on weekdays.

Route Design: The route has been optimized for reduced travel time and distance, featuring minimal stops to efficiently link the densely populated residential and commercial areas of Kharadi with the Ramwadi Metro Station on Nagar Road.
