An incident has shocked residents of College Road in Hoskote city, where a woman named Hemavathi was allegedly murdered by her lover, Venu. The tragic episode unfolded six months after Hemavathi left her husband to be with Venu, whom she had been in a relationship with for several years.
The motive behind the heinous act reportedly stemmed from Venu’s suspicion that Hemavathi was involved with another man. In a fit of jealousy and rage, he fatally stabbed her in the abdomen with a knife before fleeing the scene. Before his escape, Venu contacted his father-in-law, hinting at his own suicidal intentions.
The search for Hemavathi’s body lasted four hours, led by Hoskote police inspector Ashok, ultimately locating her lifeless remains. Following the discovery, a murder case was registered against Venu at the Hoskote police station.
Venu, who had gone into hiding, was apprehended by the police from a hospital in Chikkaballapur, bringing a tragic end to a tumultuous relationship marked by love turned deadly suspicion.
