Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha stated on Sunday that terrorism is in its final stages, causing desperation in the neighboring country that exports it. Addressing the recruits of the 16th batch of the Basic Recruitment Training Course (BRTC) at the subsidiary police training center in Reasi District, Sinha praised the J&K Police for their professional excellence under challenging conditions.

He highlighted the dedication of the elite police force in maintaining the integrity and security of the country over several decades. Without explicitly naming Pakistan, Sinha acknowledged the police force’s role in driving J&K’s progress forward.

‘Terrorism is on its last leg, and this has made our neighboring country, the exporter of terrorism, desperate,’ said Sinha. He pointed to recent terrorist acts as signs of this desperation and emphasized the goal of completely eliminating terrorism. ‘We must hunt down the terrorists, their aides, and harborers,’ he urged.

Sinha also took salute at an impressive parade of the recruits at the training center, reinforcing his message of determination and resolve against terrorism.
