Former MLC MB Bhanuprakash passed away on Monday following a cardiac arrest.
He was participating in a protest organised by the BJP against the state government over the hike in petrol and diesel prices at Gopi Circle in the city.
He suffered a massive heart attack during the protest and collapsed. He was immediately rushed to Max Hospital. However, he did not respond to treatment and died. Bhanuprakash’s body has been shifted to his native village Mathura.
Meanwhile, BJP state president BY Vijayendra condoled the death of Bhanuprakash.The unexpected death of ManyaBhanuprakash, a former member of the Legislative Council and a senior mentor of the organisation, has come as a shock to sanghparivar and party workers. I am personally deeply pained by the passing away of him, who has been educating me about the organisation from time to time, he said.
Bhanuprakashwho dedicated his entire life to the sangh and the organization was a role model for the patriots of today’s generation. His family also dedicated himself to the service of the Sangh, his family was no different, the SanghParivar was no different, and he was active in dedicating his lifestyle as a symbol of sacrifice and even as a member of the Legislative Council, he worked sincerely to uphold the sanctity of democracy in a transparent manner.
Bhanuprakash went down in the pages of history by joining the ranks of great personalities who sacrificed their lives in the SanghParivarby dying in the course of organisation and struggle. I pray to God to give his family and admirers the strength to bear the grief of his demise.
The absence of Bhanuprakash, a rare simple, gentleman and pure personality, has left a void in the parivar and party circles. He may not be with us physically in the future, but his inspiration, struggle, guidance will always stand behind us and be a source of inspiration in the future.
