Deputy Commissioner PN Ravindra has asked all the employees and officers of the district to actively participate in the sports and cultural competitions program of the district level government employees to be held on June 19 and 20 at the district stadium.
He spoke while presiding over the preliminary preparation meeting of the government employees’ sports event held at the Commissioner’s office hall on Tuesday.
If the officers and employees in government services want to enhance their performance, it is better to engage in any sport, cultural competition, yoga, exercise. In that regard, it is a tradition that sports and cultural competitions are being conducted in the past to benefit the government administration.
Accordingly this year also sports and cultural competitions for government employees should be organized in the district. All officers and employees of the district can directly participate in the district level sports event and showcase their talent. In that context, the district level sports event on June 19 and 20 should be organized in a very proper manner.
All the arrangements have to be well organized for those coming from all corners of the district for the sports event. He instructed the officials of Youth Empowerment and Sports Department and other concerned departments to arrange for meaningful and successful organization of the Games.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to all the officials and staff of the district administration to actively participate in the district level sports and cultural competitions.
