In the district, Maliyappa Ajja climbed the tree and ‘huth’ means enough, thousands of people joined, everything in Dolluna is quiet. After saying ‘Mungari Hingara Takkasta Masana’ everything starts again. It takes place in the Jatra Mahotsava of Hulleshwar temple in the district.

Hulleshwar Temple, which has a historical background in Gudura village of Ilakal taluk, has such a tradition during the festival. Rathotsava is not held in this temple. Instead, it is customary to make a statement like this.

Then in the evening of the full moon day, after offering special pooja to the god, Maliyappa Ajja wears a blanket and beats the Raudravatar. After the arrival of the god, they march near the huge banni tree in the outer zone of the village, playing drums and carrying the palanquin of lighted hila and other musical instruments.

In the past, Maliyappa used to stay in this area and worship them. Then they make the god come on Maliyappajja with other instruments including drum. Then Maliyappa Ajja climbs the tree in front of everyone and says  hut. All the people are silent for two minutes. After predicting rain again, he descends from the tree. They return to the temple with a palanquin on the main road of the village shouting  seven crores of devotees. The iron chain flowing in front of the temple is special. It is believed that if it falls in one blow, there will be more rain and good crops. Devotees believe that this time Maliyappa Ajja gave a good prediction by making the chain flow with a single blow.
