Bagalkot

Veena Kashappanavar has made it clear that if the Congress candidate from Bagalkote constituency does not change in the Lok Sabha elections, she will definitely contest as a rebel candidate. Samyukta Patil has been given a Congress ticket from Bagalkote and aspirant Veena Kashapana has been defeated.

Veena Kashapanavar conveyed a clear message after holding a meeting of Panchamashali community leaders at her residence.

MLA Vinaya Kulkurni, who has been elected as KPCC Working President, arrived at Bandaya Shaman and held a meeting with Veena Kashappanavar, Vijayananda Kashappanavar and community leaders for some time.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinaya Kulkurni said, discussions have been held with District in-Charge Minister RB Thimmapura and some leaders. Discussions have been held with Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister. A meeting will be held with district MLAs, Ministers and other leaders in Bangalore on March 28 and an appropriate decision will be taken. CM Siddaramaiah informed about this.  All the leaders will take a good decision together in the meeting, he said.

At the same time, the leaders and women of Panchmashali Samaj expressed their displeasure in front of Vinay Kulkarni. Later, MLA Vijayananda Kashappanavar said, we have been working faithfully in the Congress party for 50 years. How can we be treated unfairly? I am asking you to give us justice. He expressed his displeasure against the leaders.
