Rural Tahsildar Prakash Holeppagola visited Palikoppa village and inspected drinking water, fodder availability and other problems due to drought.

There is a problem of drinking water in various villages of the taluk. In some places there is also shortage of water in lakes. There has been less water in existing sources of drinking water such as tube wells, wells and lakes. Hence drinking water problem is occurring.

Action will be taken to drill a private tube well in the form of rent from the taluk administration. Also water will be supplied through tankers. He informed that steps will be taken to supply water from clean drinking water units.

Drinking water problem for cattle can get worse in summer season. Precautionary measures are being taken. No shortage of fodder was reported. Also, getting information about fodder problem, it will be supplied through fodder banks. The public should not hesitate to address their problems to the authorities. He explained that steps will be taken to resolve the issues.

On this occasion, the drought situation was discussed in detail with the villagers. Gram panchayat officials and villagers were present.
