CM Bommai lays foundation to Maasti Bhavana

Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai on Monday said, government has a vision of making Bengaluru an internationally smart city by building metro, suburban railway lines and new layouts and satellite towns.
Speaking at the event organised by the Department of Kannada and Culture and Dr. Maasti Venkatesh Iyyengar Trust, he also inaugurated and laid stone to ‘Maasti Bhavana’.
CM Bommai added, “Making Bengaluru an international brand is giving the economy a boost. Bengaluru is going to become our pride. However, we are not less than any of the North Indian cities. Good literature, library, sports and so on should be developed. The Government is in the vision to completely develop Bengaluru. Implementing comprehensive development programs will change the whole picture of Bengaluru.”
The field of cooperation has been revolutionized by the performance of Minister Somashekhar. He said that this time around 33 lakh farmers will be set up with a zero interest loan scheme, a success scheme for farmers and a Milk Probation Co-operative Bank.
Masti is India’s Pride
“All the activities of Maasti’s literature will be in the memorial hall. We hope that Maasti’s legacy will spread the literary world continue through this hall to the next generation too. Maasti is not just Karnataka’s pride but also India’s pride,” said Bommai.
Kannada literature has won the most number of Jnanapeeta awards. The contribution of Kannada literature to mankind is immense. We have a great literature history. Good history is only possible with good thinking and its manifestations. The claim of excellence in literature is a great penance. With such a legends, the literary dignitaries will be felicitated with Jnanapeeta Award. He said that there are extraordinary literature among ordinary people in Kannada.
A different perspective, analysis of fact, and rationality of Maasti can be found in the hall. Research has to be done on Maasti’s literature and ideal thoughts about the similarities and differences of the present situation. CM said the government would get the full cooperation for the construction of the Maasti Bhavan.
Chandrasekhar Kambara’s thought is very close to the folk lore. With his persuasion, the Folk University was established in Haveri. For rational thought, his literature works reflect the zoning of society.
