Fraud Gang That Promised BBMP Job, Arrested

There has been a cheating incident in which 60 people were cheated of, more than 15 lakhs by saying that they would give them jobs in BBMP. Deepak, Harish and some other friends joined together, and cheated the youth and women under the pretext of giving them BBMP, subsidy money, car, site and house. Innocent women used to get 8 to 10 thousand money by getting numbers of housewives for work, and believing that they would give them a job in BBMP and then escape. In this way, the investigation revealed that more than 60 innocents were cheated, along with 15L of money. Now the gang of these accused and are behind bars.

The Koramangala police have arrested the three accused who were stealing two-wheelers, including cars. Deepak, Tejas and Bharat also used to steal cars and bikes in front of houses and parking lots in many places like RR Nagar, Hanumantanagar, using fake keys. Now the police have seized 5 cars and 2 two-wheelers worth ten lakhs from these three.

Meanwhile, KR Puram police have arrested a thief named Prajwal who was snatching chains. On January 11 last morning, when a woman was walking alone, Prajwal and his accomplices escaped by snatching away a gold chain weighing 16 grams around her neck. After registering a case, the police arrested him and laid a trap for the other two accused.

In any case, the accused Deepak and Harish have been subjected to further investigation as the gang had cheated more people on the pretext of providing BBMP, BDA, subsidy money, car site and house.
