In a much-anticipated development, the release of the film “Case of Kondana” is just around the corner. Directed by Deviprasad Shetty, known for his previous work “Seetharam Binoy,” the filmmakers have now delved into the investigation saga in a hyperlink story. The film is set to hit the screens on January 26th, and the film crew recently presented details to the media.
Dialogue writer Jogi said that the film’s story was captivating. “The story unfolds in the evening and progresses into the night and ends by day break. It reveals the complexities of each character. Each character plays a crucial role in uncovering betrayal and rebellion and the film captures the essence of the investigation thriller genre,” he said.
Producer Satvik Hebbar who produced Seetharam Binoy earlier, found it inevitable to join forces for this project once again with director Deviprasad Shetty. They emphasized the need for both the director and producer to bring their unique skills to the table.
Director Deviprasad Shetty expressed satisfaction with the collaboration and thanked the cast and crew for their efforts. He praised the dedication of the actors and expressed pride in the outcome. Vijay Raghavendra, addressing the media, conveyed his gratitude for the opportunity and described the film as a captivating journey through a thrilling investigation.
“The film, set in the fictional location of Kondana, presents a tale that revolves around events unfolding over a single night. The key characters, portrayed by Kushi Ravi and Rangayana Raghu, have not been seen in such roles before, adding a fresh dimension to their performances. The narrative, with elements of emotion, crime, and action, promises to engage and captivate the audience,” the director said.
The film boasts a stellar crew, with Gagan Baderia handling the music, Vishwajith Rao managing cinematography, Bhavani Shankar contributing to art direction, and Shashank Narayan coordinating the screenplay. Pramod Maravante, along with Vishwajith Rao, have penned the lyrics.
The anticipation for “Case of Kondana” has been heightened with the release of its trailer, and the film is set to bring an engaging investigation thriller to the audience on its release day.
