In a unique and innovative initiative, Yama Dharmaraya and Chitragupta made a surprise appearance in Mysore Bank Circle, teaching a lesson to motorists and riders who were not following traffic rules. The theatrical enactment aimed to raise awareness about road safety and the importance of adhering to traffic regulations. Yama, the god of death, questioned a rider who was not wearing a helmet about the number of times they had violated the rule. Chitragupta, the divine record keeper, consulted his book and revealed that the rider had flouted the rule twenty times. Yama, in his stern yet cautionary tone, warned the rider about the consequences of reckless behavior on the road, emphasizing the impact on family and the potential connection to Yamaloka. Additionally, Yama addressed a rider who was talking on the phone while driving, cautioning them about the dangers and linking it to the realm of the afterlife. The Upparpet Traffic Police, led by Inspector Krishnamurthy and his team, complemented this theatrical effort by giving rose flowers to riders who followed traffic rules. The initiative aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness among motorists, promoting road safety practices for the well-being of all road users.
