In an unusual case in City, a two-wheeler owned by Yemumalai from Ragigudda, Jayanagar, has accumulated fines of Rs 1.35 lakh due to 225 traffic violation cases. The traffic police labeled this incident as one of the most extensively violated cases in recent times. The violations were captured on CCTV cameras as Yedumalai and his son were seen walking without helmets near their residence. Traffic police initiated 225 cases against the vehicle. During a routine vehicle inspection, the extensive rule violations came to light. Yedumalai, who does odd jobs for a living, is currently paying Rs. 10,000 for 20 cases, and the vehicle was released upon payment. The traffic police have requested payment of the outstanding amount for the remaining cases. ASI Mahadev and Head Constable Ravikumar from Jayanagar Traffic Station conducted the operation.
