Venkatesh, originally from Andhra Pradesh, had been a resident of Raghavendra Block for years, living with his wife and two children. Siddaraju, a ladies’ tailor from Muneshwar Block, resided nearby with his family. The two families were acquainted due to their proximity. The distressing incident unfolded on the night of November 2 when Siddaraju’s wife had left their home. Concerned, their children approached Venkatesh, using his mobile to call their mother. Upon Siddaraju’s return from work, witnessing his wife conversing outside Venkatesh’s shop, fueled his anger, misinterpreting the situation. In a drunken state, Siddaraju confronted Venkatesh, assuming an inappropriate interaction with his wife, leading to a heated argument. The situation escalated tragically when Siddaraju assaulted Venkatesh with a shoe, causing him to fall from a four-foot embankment, resulting in severe injuries. Despite immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital, Venkatesh succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning. The Girinagar police acted promptly upon the family’s complaint, arresting Siddaraju in connection with the incident. A harrowing incident unfolded in Girinagar, claiming the life of Venkatesh (41) after a distressing altercation with Siddaraju, a ladies’ tailor.
