In a recent development, the CCB in Bangalore has made significant strides in combating fraudulent financial activities, apprehending a father and son duo, identified as Satish and Srikanth, for their alleged involvement in a deceitful investment scheme. The duo purportedly operated under the guise of the Panch Aishwarya Cooperative Society, with multiple branches strategically positioned across key locations in the city, enticing unsuspecting individuals with the promise of doubling their investments.

The accused, allegedly persuaded individuals to invest Rs 10,000 on a daily basis, guaranteeing a monthly profit of Rs 45,000. Utilizing Bitcoin as a primary attraction for potential investors, their scheme reportedly revolved around a purported GGgaming app launched during the period of 2021-2022. Of particular note is the role played by Srikanth, who is believed to have orchestrated deceptive meetings at reputable hotels, employing persuasive tactics to entice individuals into making significant financial commitments.

Furthermore, the accused individuals are currently under investigation for allegations of bank fraud, following a formal complaint lodged by a victim with the local police station. Subsequent police intervention led to the seizure of six computers, four mobile phones, two laptops, and crucial documents during the arrest. The ongoing investigation by the CCB aims to unravel the full extent of the fraudulent scheme and identify any additional accomplices involved in the operation.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for heightened vigilance and caution when engaging in financial investments, particularly within the realm of cryptocurrency and similar investment schemes.
