The sale of gold cards valued Rs 6,000 were released online on Wednesday to watch the world famous Dasara Jumboo Savari and Panjina Kavayatu, has received a good response. According to a press release issued by the Dasara Special Officer and the Deputy Commissioner’s office, 1,000 cards were sold in one hour.
The Gold Card for Jumboo Savari and Panjina kavayithu viewing on October 24 was released online at 10 am on Wednesday. Of these, 1,000 gold cards were sold online within an hour for jumboo savari viewing and Panjina Kavayithu.
As many as 400 tickets of face value Rs 3,000, 600 tickets of Rs 2,000 have been sold. 1,000 tickets of Rs 500 to view Panjina Kayathi at Banni Mantap have been sold online On the fourth day of Navratri, the Garuda Festival was celebrated at Chamundi Hill on Wednesday. The traditional Navarathri pujas were being performed at Chamundi Hill and the original Chamundeshwari was decorated with Vaishnavi decorations. Special pujas were performed to the utsava murthy since morning. Later, mahamangalarathi was lit for the original idol and the utsava murthy was brought out of the temple and garuda utsava was performed.
